📸 Instagram Affiliate Links in Reels

Instagram just flipped the switch on native affiliate tagging for Reels — eligible creators (18+, 1,000+ followers) can now tag up to 30 products directly inside a Reel, with viewers tapping through to the brand's site to purchase.

It's the biggest commerce shift on the platform since Shopping tags in 2022, and it finally puts Instagram on the same footing as TikTok Shop for creator-driven sales. Brands should start verifying their commerce catalogs and briefing affiliate creators now

📦 Walmart Product Detail Page Guidelines

Walmart released a refreshed breakdown of what makes a high-converting product detail page, covering everything from titles and descriptions to imagery and media.

It’s a reminder that PDP quality directly impacts ranking, conversion, and compliance. Sellers should treat this as a checklist to tighten up listings and stay competitive on Walmart Marketplace.

Amazon Seller Boycott Over New Fees

Amazon rolled out a 3.5% fuel and logistics surcharge on all FBA fulfillment fees effective April 17, landing on top of recent changes that delay seller payouts until 7 days after delivery and auto-deduct ad spend from retail proceeds.

Hundreds of large sellers ran a coordinated one-day ad boycott on April 15, and Amazon has already pushed the ad-payment change back to August 2026. Cash flow is the real story here — sellers should re-run margin math before Prime Day planning.
