📰 Weekly ECommerce News

🔴 Amazon Prime Day Deal Deadline Is Today

Amazon extended the deal submission deadline to June 9th. Prime Exclusive Best Deals & Lightning Deals must be submitted by end of day. Discounts of 30%+ may qualify for "Buzzworthy Deals" placement, a high visibility curated deal collection with extra reach.

Prime Day runs June 23 through 26, four days across 22+ countries, kicking off at 12:01am PDT.

📈 Amazon Ad Cost Hit an All-Time High Heading into Prime Day

Starting June 29, Amazon is cracking down on seller-fulfilled SKUs with inaccurate handling times, and suppressed listings mean zero Buy Box, right as Prime Day traffic hits its peak.

If you've been coasting on default handling time settings, that's almost certainly wrong and needs to be fixed now. Log into Seller Central, audit every seller-fulfilled SKU, and set realistic handling times before the deadline hits.

📱Reddit Dynamic Product Ads now open to all Shopify sellers globally

Reddit expanded its Shopify integration to all global advertisers with quick authorization, automated catalog syncing, and a Reddit pixel. Reddit's ad auction is still far less competitive than Meta or TikTok, meaning lower CPMs and CPCs across most product categories.

A lower competition channel worth testing before it gets crowded.
